i would like to say that you are my BRAVE friend . All this is really looking into your own soul and seeing things that can change or things that cannot change are exactly what makes us human , it is the myriad of features that allow us to be US !

I find this week's parsha hard to connect to because it's details of the Mishkan.

It’s not the most exciting :)

Thank you for your insights. Some very honest people I know have done a lot of psychadelics with good effect, combined with a whole lot of therapy and inner work. All of that has benefited them- all of it. And now they are delving deeper and deeper into Torah. From what I hear from them the psychadelics were very helpful- only when combined with a lot of other resources. And yes, breathwork has been part of their journey also to a better relationship with Hashem. I don’t believe they used tools/ resources other than Torah as a substitute for Torah, as any kind of shortcut whatsoever, but as a tool to break through trauma keeping them from Torah.

Thank you for your message! I have no doubt that this is true and I admire that. I’m commenting more on the trend/fad it’s become to the point where it’s not being accompanied with the work and reverence that psychedelics require

Thank YOU for your acknowledgement.

I completely agree- many people likely use psychadelics as a shortcut and bypass from/to doing inner work comprehensively. And unfortunately people can use sometimes use Torah as a “spiritual bypass” by stating and hoping it’s just Hashem’s will they have trauma and dysfunction.

Then it’s possible to start there and not get help and find courage to heal. To heal themselves so they can help others heal.

I think our purpose is to show up with honesty and the willingness to do the real work :)

So true!

Anything can be a spiritual bypass!

This is GREAT, Chavie!!! We are peas in the proverbial pod! Thank you for speaking it out! May you be abundantly blessed! Please always continue to be a "braver angel" by listening to others to understand (rather than reply) and not being afraid to revise your opinions when warranted. I have had the opportunity to do lots of changing of my opinions as I have garnered more information - much from you, through Tanya study!!! May you be abundantly blessed!

Love this comment! Thank you! And changing your opinion when warranted is such a boss move 🤣
